AMI Representation in Australia

AMI has recently learned of certain personal representing themselves erronously as  "Owners" or "Directors" of AMI in other states.  AMI wishes to publically announce that these people are NOT authorised to speak on behalf of AMI in any capacity.

Future Directions

AMI is also currently developing the following courses in line with the new Australian Marine Safety Authority (AMSA) direction and including the British Nautical Institute (BNI). These courses are scheduled to come on stream in 2010.

The Australasian Maritime Institute is proud to support and partner Maritime Training WA (MTWA) in its maritime ventures and activities. Formed in 1992 MTWA is a WA based non for profit organisation. MTWA‘s role as an entity is to source government funding and private sector resource; to utilise these resources for the advancement of the maritime industry through education and training.

AMI is pleased to announce that MTWA-2. , the Institute's 33ft-10.4 metre sailing yacht will be sailing into Western Australia in October.  The MTWA-2 will open new opportunities and create new access pathways to education and vocational training.
