The Australasian Maritime Institute is proud to support and partner Maritime Training WA (MTWA) in its maritime ventures and activities. Formed in 1992 MTWA is a WA based non for profit organisation. MTWA‘s role as an entity is to source government funding and private sector resource; to utilise these resources for the advancement of the maritime industry through education and training.

The Australian Navy Cadets (ANC) is a leading provider of youth development experiences and aims to build leadership qualities in young people through adventure and exciting learning opportunities.

Cadets learn how to sail, navigate and gain skills in everything from IT, communications, cooking, first aid to drill and seamanship (inc. boat handling, and maritime engineering).

The Australian Association for Maritime Affairs is a private, independent, non-profit association incorporated in the ACT. Its objectives are to disseminate information on maritime issues; to undertake research in areas where work is not presently being undertaken; to facilitate ongoing work by other bodies; to promote discussion across disciplinary boundaries; and to act as a bridge between industries and between industries and government.
