Certificate I in Maritime Operations (Line Handling)

Course Summary:

This course meets the minimum mandatory requirements about basic load handling (manual handling), communications (VHF radio), operational quality and safety (shore-based mooring) to prepare you for the environments you will encounter. These include safety procedures, hazard identification and emergency situations.

The training and assessment program meets the requirements of the MAR10213 Certificate I in Maritime Operations (Line Handling) training package.

6 Days (Full Time)

What will you need?

  • Lunch – there is a lunchbar within walking distance
  • Enclosed footwear and neat casual clothing
  • Passport photograph
  • Writing materials (eg. pen, pencil) and paper

When and where is the course run?

The Line Handling course is run upon request for a minimum of four students at AMI, located at 61 Quill Way, Henderson WA.
