Confined Space Entry

Course Summary:

This Confined Space Entry course will cover working in confined spaces. It includes identifying hazards, work procedures and instructions for the task, applying for permit, accessing and installing equipment, performing work in an enclosed space, wearing and using breathing apparatus, gas testing atmospheres and cleaning up the work area.

There are no pre-requisite units for this course. However it is recommended that participants are not claustrophobic.

  • Lunch – there is a canteen within walking distance
  • Enclosed footwear
  • Passport photograph
  • Writing materials (eg. pen, pencil) and paper

When and where is the course run?

The Confined Space Entry course is run upon request for a minimum of four students. The course is provided at AMI, located at 61 Quill Way, Henderson WA.
